The EOX injector behr I NJ 10 injects with adjustable speed 100-1000 μI of a combustible solvent, e.g. hexane, toluene automatically in an inert gas atmosphere in the hot part of the furnace. The solvent evaporates in inert gas flow and combusts in the oxygen flow at the platinum contact. The halogen hydracids that are generated in the process HX (X= Cl, Br, I) are analyzed microcoulometrically.
