The programmable infrared furnace behr IRF 10
The programmable infrared furnace behr IRF 10 - the optimum solution for many tasks in the lab, e.g.:
- Thermal-oxidative or reductive digestion of various sample materials for sample quantities of 10 mg to 1 g (depending on sample material)
- Thermoanalysis
- Targeted fractioned desorption of organic compounds of carrier materials
- Pyrolysis
- Drying
- Targeted evaporation of sample constituents and sample materials
- Combustion gases can be transferred for further analysis (e.g. ion chromatography, coulometrics) to an absorption liquid. In addition, the transfer to online analysis (e.g. infrared spectroscopy) is also possible. The behr IRF 10 heats with radiated heat.
- An infrared beam is located in the combustion line of a cylinder with elliptical cross sections.
- Its radiation is reflected on the gold-coated interior surface of the cylinder and focused in the combustion line. A quartz combustion pipe is located there as a carrier for the sample material.
- The user can transfer the samples to the quartz pipe with a sample boat made of quartz glass, ceramics and another inert material.
- The temperature measurement is performed by an Ni-CrNi thermo element. It is located at the outer wall of the quartz combustion pipe in the inner chamber of the furnace cylinder.
- Temperature range up to 1150 °C
- Extremely short heating time (e.g. from room temperature to 1000 °C in 10 sec.)
- Up to 5 ramps and 5 heating rates can be freely programmed. This program manages the individual analysis phases exactly and reproducibly, the sample boat stays in the same position during this at all times.
- Cooling with "heat pipes" - no cooling water required
- Quick cooling down thanks to the "heat pipe technology"
- Viewable combustion chamber; The user can move the upper cylinder bowl (furnace lid) on wheels to the back
- The use of quartz combustion pipes with different measurements enables the adjustment to different applications, sample material and sample quantities
- Two through-flow quantity meters for the connection of 2 gases, e.g. oxygen and inert gas
- Serial interface RS232
- Control possible via PC
